Inpatient Psychiatrist in Pennsylvania

SPECIALTY: PSYCHIATRY - ADULT INPATIENT

LOCATION: Pennsylvania--Altoona area

DESCRIPTION:

• FT Inpatient 40 hrs per week (M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) onsite
• Hospital setting
• Start Date: ASAP and open to 2026 start date further out – Ongoing need and growth

Setting:

• Round in a inpatient hospital setting with a collaborative team
• Document patient progress and treatment plans per accrediting standards
• Assess medical and psychiatric changes, including lab results.
• Review and update medication and treatment orders regularly.
• Complete both new intakes and discharges.
• Participate in meetings and treatment team discussions with a compassionate team and great medical director leadership.

REQUIRED:

• P license, active and unrestricted or willing to obtain
• At least 1 yr post residency experience or will consider new graduates that are truly board eligible.
