Overview:
Our practice in Columbus is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication management. New graduates and experienced PMHNPs are both encouraged to apply.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Competitive pay: $70.85+ per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric diagnostic assessments, including mental status examinations and risk evaluations
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, integrating psychopharmacology and therapeutic interventions
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications, ensuring safe and effective pharmacologic management
• Provide therapeutic communication and brief counseling interventions to support patient engagement
• Deliver patient and family psychoeducation on diagnoses, treatment options, and coping strategies
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and community agencies
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning
• Document all clinical encounters and treatment plans accurately in the EHR

Qualifications:

• Active, current Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensure in Nebraska
