Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) | Near Denver, CO

An established multi-specialty clinic near Denver, Colorado, is seeking a compassionate, motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join its team. This part-time role is just one 8-hour day per week, and you can choose the day that works best for your schedule. Position Offers

• Competitive pay: $60–$80 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
• Diagnose and treat patients with a range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide follow-up care
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, and treatment options
• Collaborate with providers across specialties to coordinate patient care and referrals
• Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program
• Active Colorado APRN license with prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain)
• Current PMHNP-BC board certification
• Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in psychiatric or mental health settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
