Job Description
Our client outside of Hartford, CT is growing and adding a Nurse Practitioner to their team. Candidate will treat patients out of one facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform outpatient and emergency department consults
- Develop diagnoses treatment plans and prognoses for evaluations
- Order and interpret all clinically necessary diagnostic and laboratory studies
- Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to a pediatric population in the ambulatory psychiatry setting
- Prescribe, write and sign orders of medications for the treatment of patients
- Population: 3-15 years of age
- Consistently provide high quality and timely documentation including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes and discharge summaries
Qualifications:
- Active DEA License
- Ability to obtain CT state license
- Prior experience with pediatrics and psychiatry
