Overview:
Our practice in Van Nuys is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to manage a continuity patient panel with full-lifespan primary care, from pediatrics through geriatrics. This role works alongside our founding physician and offers comprehensive compensation and benefits.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Competitive salary: $160,000–185,000 annually (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a continuity patient panel with full-lifespan care
• Perform comprehensive physical exams, annual physicals, well-woman exams, and Pap smears
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret labs, EKGs, and diagnostic studies
• Provide preventive care and patient education
• Support the founding physician and overall clinic operations
• Review and sign prior authorizations and patient forms prepared by the operations team
• Maintain timely documentation, with all patient notes signed within 24 hours

Qualifications:

• Active, current Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in California (FNP or equivalent)
• National certification (AANP or ANCC)
• DEA registration, or ability to obtain
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient primary care or family medicine experience required; 4+ years preferred. New graduates will not be considered
• Strong documentation, time-management skills, and EMR experience
• Spanish-speaking preferred
