Are you and Interventional Radiology APP seeking a new position and interested in growth potential? We have a IRR APP position in beautiful central Virginia that is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant now! Our Radiology and Medical Imaging department plays a critical role in patient care at our world-class academic medical center and health system! Schedule: Full time Days; 4x10 hour shifts No Weekends or Holidays!
Position overview: The IR APP will perform inpatient and outpatient consultations, which includes providing coverage of the Interventional Radiology (IR) consult pager and performing pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care at the IRR clinic. The APP will work closely with the tight-knit IR staff, residents, and faculty and also interact with many of the residents and faculty in nearly every specialty. Other position responsibilities include seeing new and established patients in the IR clinic. The Vascular and Interventional Radiology Division provides minimally invasive procedures for a wide range of disorders of the arteries, veins, liver, biliary system, kidney and other systems. Services include peripheral vascular interventions, biliary stents, acute and chronic venous disease treatment, and directed liver cancer therapies.
Education: Master’s Degree as an Advance Practice Provider - Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/FNP) or Physician Assistant

Experience: One to two years minimum experience as an Advanced Practice Provider Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred in IRR or similar field
