(Archived) Nurse Practitioner - Rheumatology
Job Description
Growing rheumatology practice in the Tampa Bay area needs an ARNP. This position operates under physician directed protocols. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for seeing established patients. We are looking for a professional who is a lifelong learner who takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care. We are interested in candidates with excellent bedside manner, strong work ethic, and a commitment to working as part of a team to expand the reach and scope of our current practice. Nurse Practitioner will:
Treat patients, order labs, and other tests as required.
Establish rapport with patients to encourage a strong therapeutic relationship.
Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment.
Perform physical examinations.
Provide referrals to specialists when required.
Assist the supervising physician.
Required:
Valid unrestricted ARNP license
Familiarity with EHR/EMR programs
Ability to work within a team and take direction.
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
