Job Description
A facility is seeking a thoracic surgery nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in Eastern Missouri, explore and visit Saint Louis Zoo, Missouri Botanical Garden, or the Gateway Arch!
The preference is to have a clinician be scheduled 3 days/row per week. Hours are 6a-6:30p. The locum should be proficient in EVH, saphenous vein, and radial approach. They use Maquet. There is a high acuity. We are an ECMO center with multiple daily ECMO management. Procedures aside from first and second assist include central line and arterial line placement, and chest tube placement. The schedule is day shift with a surgical call once a week, one in every 5 weekends.
