Work Schedule
Shift Type: Days
Schedule Features: Rotating weekend call; 1:4-5 weekday and weekend call rotation with in-house night coverage

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced clinical and perioperative care to cardiothoracic surgery patients with a patient-first approach

  • Assist in cardiac surgeries, including endoscopic vein harvesting and first assisting as needed

  • Manage ICU and cardiovascular surgical patients through rounding, evaluation, and follow-up care

  • Participate in weekly clinics and see additional patients as necessary

  • Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests; develop and implement detailed care plans

  • Write prescriptions and order medications in accordance with medical staff privileging

  • Perform bedside procedures appropriate to patient needs

  • Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation of all patient care

  • Function independently with expert clinical judgment under physician supervision

  • Maintain continuing education and certification requirements

  • Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving clinical environment with flexibility and teamwork

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range $100,588 – $143,769 annually, commensurate with experience
