Orthopedic Surgery Position in Colorado Springs, Colorado (CO)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Orthopedic Surgery APP provider for full-time locum tenens coverage in Colorado Springs, Colorado (CO). Starting January 2026, this role offers a competitive market rate and ongoing coverage.

The Orthopedic Surgery Role:

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

• Available dates:

January 2026

February 2026

Setting: Inpatient, Level I Trauma, call coverage

Duties:

• Consults, rounding, H&P
• First assist as needed
• General support for orthopedic surgeon on call

EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

• Active CO license or Compact RN license (NURSYS report required)
• AANP or ANCC Certified (NP) and/or NCCPA Certified (PA
• Active DEA, BLS, First assist certification
• Clean malpractice and background
