Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts per week (NO part-time)
Setting: Outpatient Clinic + Hospital Shared Service
Position Overview
A Surgical Oncology/Thoracic Surgery NP or PA is needed for a full-time role supporting an outpatient thoracic surgery clinic with a strong oncology focus. The APP will manage an independent clinic with RN support while also providing shared service coverage alongside thoracic surgeons.
This role is ideal for an experienced APP confident in outpatient surgical workflows, oncology patients, and complex post-operative management.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage an independent outpatient thoracic surgery clinic
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for adult surgical oncology patients
- Collaborate with thoracic surgeons for shared service coverage
- Perform minor clinic procedures, including:
- Drain removals
- Wound care
- Incision care
- Document within Epic EMR
- Deliver high-quality care in a multidisciplinary environment
Department & Practice Details
- Outpatient thoracic surgery clinic with an oncology-heavy caseload
- Adult patient population
- RN provided for clinical support

Requirements
- Board-certified NP or PA
- Active California license (required)
- California DEA (required)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient surgical oncology or thoracic surgery
- Proficiency and confidence in outpatient surgical management
Schedule
- Full-Time Only: 4×10-hour shifts per week
- NO part-time availability
- Monday–Friday scheduling structure may vary based on clinic needs
