Locums - NP - General Surgery - San Francisco, CA - $110-$120/hr

Job Description
Providers will be expected to be able to work at both facilities (2 mi apart). They will likely work predominantly at one facility, but may need the option to float to the other as needed.
M-F, 8 hours on site, occasional weekend shift, 8 hours
Call requirements: no call
Providers will likely work 3 weeks M-F and the last week a mix of weekday and weekend shifts. Providers will likely need to cover 2-4 weekend shifts/mo. When covering weekend shifts, providers will have variable days off that week M-F in lieu of weekend coverage.
Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time
• Department description: bread and butter general surg
• EMR: Epic
• Special procedures: will need to assist in OR
• Skills required: Provider will be responsible for consults, post op follow ups, and assist surgeon in the OR

Requirements:
• Board Certification: For NP, must have the following board cert: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
For PA: must have a masters degree in physician assistant studies
• License required: CA required
• DEA: CA required with scvhedule 2
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• Minimum experience required: Must have at least 1 year experience working inpatient general surgery.
Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
