Our healthcare team is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support preoperative surgical clearance and patient evaluation services. This role focuses on assessing patient readiness for surgery through comprehensive clinical evaluation and diagnostic review. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative evaluations for surgical clearance
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory results and cardiac testing
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document clinical findings
• Develop and coordinate preoperative care plans with surgical teams
• Communicate clearance decisions and clinical recommendations to providers
• Educate patients on preoperative requirements and care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support continuity of care throughout the surgical preparation process

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in primary care or cardiac care
• Experience with preoperative evaluation preferred
• Ability to interpret labs and cardiac-related diagnostic testing
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient management skills
