Job Description
- Nurse Practitioner - Trauma Surgery
- Specialty: Trauma / Emergency General Surgery (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- Inpatient, Outpatient or both: Inpatient
- Target start date and Length of need: 18 shifts in September / Sept 1st start date
- Locums Shift Schedule: 12 hour shifts will determine which 18 are needed soon
- Call Schedule and Call Responsibilities: IN house only no further call
- Type of patients/cases/procedures required: Trauma / EGS
- Patient Encounters per shift: variable
- Available support staff: days- 5 surgeons and 4 other APP's / nights 2 Surgeons 1 other APP
- Certifications required (Board Certification/Truly Board Eligible or life support, etc.): ATLS
- Will you accept licensure candidates (IMLC or standard process)? Active License, maybe IMLC
- Miscellaneous Information: Level 1 trauma center, extremely busy facility, STICU experience needed
