California Advanced Practitioner - Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Opening
- Coverage needed Sept - ongoing
- Mon - Fri; 8 hr shifts
- Prefer Local candidates
- Required:
- BC
- PA: NCCPA Certified
- NP:ACNP or AGACNP Certified
- Active CA License
- DEA, BLS, ACLS
- BC
- 100% hospital
- 95% Adult, 5% trauma
- 5-12 patients/day
- 2 physicians in practice
- EMR – Meditech
- Required:
- Solid understanding of Trauma mechanisms of injury, pathophysiology, and recovery process
- Pre-teaching of the CT surgery patient
- Mental health/Psychological Disorders, Infectious disease
- Hematologic Disorders, Endocrine disorders, Surgical care
- Privileging takes 60( temps) – 90( full) days
