(Archived) PA/NP General Surgery Opportunity In Upstate New York
Job Description
Locum Source is working with a hospital that is looking for a locum General Surgery APP as soon as credentialed for 3 -4 months. The hospital is open to perm placement. If you are exploring permanent positions, this is a great way to “test the waters” before signing a contract.

As soon as credentialed for 3 - 4 months
SCHEDULE:
M-F shift times (in house):
7a-7p
7a-3p
11a-11p
7p-7a
9p-7a
Weekend shift times (in house):
7a-7p
7a-3p
7p-7a
SETTING:
Inpatient
Adult demographic
3-5 surgical cases per day
EMR used is Epic
REQUIREMENTS:
NCCPA or RNFA & FNP
3+ years experience in and out of the OR ( No new grads)
Clean background with no malpractice
Must be proficient in Da Vinci Robotics Si and Xi and CERTIFIED
ACLS & BLS Certification
Local candidates within driving distance - highly preferred
Active New York license – highly preferred
NP or PA needs to be proficient in Da Vinci Robots Si and XI, have a strong laparoscopic and open background as well as robotics. General Surgery Covers: Bariatrics, plastics, GYN, colon-rectal, urology, ENT, thoracic (minimal), ortho (minimal).
