Job Description
Nurse Practitioner needed in Virginia for Neurosurgery coverage. Must be Board Certified, have current DEA, and VA state license. Shifts will be shifts within Monday-Friday 7 pm-7 am. Must be comfortable with drain removal, shunt adjustment, first assist. Support staff includes 5 MDs, 7 APPs. - September-December dates
- Monday-Friday 7 pm-7 am
- Call rotation
- Trauma patients (spine and crani), elective spine patients, elective crani patients
- Patients per day for Inpatient: Daily 20-30 SNGH, 8-15 SVBGH
- Drain removal, shunt adjustment, first assist
