Spine NP or PA

Specialty accepted: Spine Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Start date or shifts: ASAP – Ongoing; Tuesdays and Thursdays, occasional weekend call; 4 to 6 hours per shift, no set daily schedule
Daily schedule: Variable based on case needs; occasional weekend call with rare overnight volume (once every few months)
Practice setting: Inpatient
Types of cases: Spine care; cervical, thoracic, and lumbar procedures; clinical exams; surgical first assist; post-op care; interdisciplinary coordination
Number of cases: 1 to 2 patients per day
Ages: Adults only
Requirements or additional information: BLS, ACLS, Board Certification; 1 to 3 years of experience in spine, orthopedics, or neurosurgery preferred (new grads with spine rotations may be considered); temporary privileges available within 4 to 5 weeks with clean background; travel and lodging available; support staff includes anesthesiologist, front desk, PM, and hospital team; Prognosis EMR and others used; collaborative team and strong spine surgeon support; paid lunch from 12–1 unless in surgery.
