Target Start Date: March 2, 2026
Contract Length: 26 weeks (full-time)

Schedule
Day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00a–3:00p (5×8 schedule)
Call Details: No call

Practice Details
Hybrid inpatient/outpatient neurosurgery service

Approx. 70% outpatient, 30% inpatient

Support staff (outpatient): surgery scheduler, MA, scribe

Inpatient work: more independent, working directly with surgeon

Patient volume: ~15–20 clinic patients/day; ~5–7 surgeries/week

Patient population: adults

Department scope: pre-op, intra-op, and post-op neurosurgical care

EMR: Epic

Special procedures: drain removal, wound care, suture/staple removal

Skills required:

Surgical specialty or procedural experience in a high-acuity environment

Neurosurgery experience strongly preferred (minimum 1 year; 3–5 years preferred)

Will consider other surgical service line backgrounds

Requirements
Board Certification:

NP: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC

PA: Master’s degree in PA Studies (required)

License: Active state license required (NP); PA license requirements vary

Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)

DEA: Required (Schedule II/II-N)

Minimum Experience: At least 1 year in neurosurgery; 3–5 years preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: ~60–90 days

Additional Notes:

Providers with malpractice >$500K or >2 cases must include documentation

Must be available to submit onboarding documents within 72 hours of offer

No emergency privileges

Parking not provided; public transit available
