Job Description
St. Joseph's Health, Syracuse, NY is seeking NP/PA!
Dates of Coverage: ASAP-3 months minimum
Reason for Coverage: Leave coverage
Schedule: Varies-need willingness for days/nights/eve/weekends. Client is looking for full time availability.
Call Schedule: 1-2 days/week if any, only overnight emergency OR call (taken from home)
Call Ratio: as above
Practice Setting: Inpatient only, no clinic
Average Number of Patients Per Day: service census approx 15-20 patients, round on 3-5/day
Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Will APP be Working Autonomously? Yes
Supervising Physician Present During Assignment?: Yes-surgeon
Patient Age Demographic: Adult/geriatric
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 1 month
REQUIREMENTS
Required Duties:
- Suture Removal
- Diagnose Illnesses
- Treat Illnesses
- Order Tests
- Interpret Tests
- Assist in Surgery
- Write Prescriptions
- Coordination of Care
- Rounding
- Pre-Op Physical Exams
Required Procedures:
- Intraoperative 1st assisting
- Removal of dialysis catheters
REQUIREMENTS
- NCCPA or ANCC/AANP, NP must have RNFA - [REQUIRED]
- Active NY State License at the time of submission - [REQUIRED]
- BLS, ACLS - [REQUIRED]
- No new grads-needs vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience as well as medical management
- A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation and must be pulled within the same month as the submission. - [REQUIRED]
- Full time availability only - [REQUIRED]
