Job Details:
Reports to Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons
- Average Number of Patients Per Day: 5-20
- Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery preferred; will consider Critical Care experience - NO new grads
- Patient Demographic: Adult and Geriatric
- EMR System: Epic
- This will include OR Call and ICU/CVICU Call

Required Duties and Procedures:
Assist in Surgery – Not required
Write Prescriptions
Coordination of Care
Rounding
Interpret Tests
Order Test
Vein Harvesting
Retrieval of Vascular Tissues for Use as a Bypass Conduit – Not required
*Site is willing to consider Surgical NP candidates* - Yes
Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days; Temporary privileges potentially in 45 days
Submission Requirements
- Board Certified (ANCC, AANP) - [REQUIRED]
- OH State License – [Preferred] (willing to consider providers needing to obtain an OH license only if it can be acquired quickly)
- ACLS – [REQUIRED]
- COVID Vaccination – [REQUIRED]
- Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery experience – [Preferred] (Critical Care experience may be considered; NO new grads – REQUIRED)
- A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - [REQUIRED]
- Availability for specific open dates – [REQUIRED]
