Support staff: 5 Cardiac Surgeons, Intensivist
Coverage Type: Ongoing OR first assist coverage with clinic support and call
Schedule Details:
Regular Shift: 0600–1830
Monthly coverage varies; schedule provided by the facility
Call 8/14 1800 - 0600 8/17
8/18 + call overnight

8/27-8/28
9/9-9/11 (one night of call)
9/14
9/21-9/25 (one night of call)
10/5-10/6 (one night of call)
10/22-10/23 (one night of call)

Procedures:
Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
Valve repair and replacement (aortic, mitral, tricuspid)
Ascending aortic surgery (including emergent dissections)
Left atrial appendage exclusion
Maze procedures
Redo sternotomies
Mechanical circulatory support procedures (Impella, ECMO cannulation, IABP exposure)
Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)
Sternotomy opening and closure
Chest tube and temporary pacing wire placement
Equipment: Maquet EVH System
Requirements:
Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: Board Certification Required
State License(s): MO license
Certifications: BLS required; RNFA preferred for NPs
CSR Req’d: No
DEA Req’d?: No
Years of Experience Req’d: Minimum 2 years of independent adult cardiac surgery OR first assist experience
Credentialing Timeframe: Varies; temporary privileges may be available/needed
