Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced physician to work locum Urgent Care shifts in Martinsburg, WV. This need starts ASAP pending credentialing and offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Urgent Care Role:
- Urgent care locum role Dates – 11/2/26- ongoing
- Locations- Martinsburg, WV
- Shifts- Mon-Sun 8a-8p. Looking for FT 12+ shifts per month or PT 6+ shifts per month
- Procedures- cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, minor burns, they may do splints, Xrays/EKGs, drawing blood and I&Ds
- EMR- EPIC
Must see all ages
Adult Percentage 80.00%
Peds Percentage 20.00%
o Suturing/Wound Care/I&Ds
o Splinting
o X-Rays/EKG:
o Drawing Blood/IVs
o Working Independently
o Pediatrics:
· 3-4 patients per hour
Requirements of the Urgent Care role:
- WV state license; active, unrestricted
- Board certified or Board Eligible
- Certifications- BLS, ACLS and PALS
- 1-2 years of NP/PA Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience
