Job Description
Nurse Practitioner needed for Urgent Care locum tenens assignment in Eastern NC.
Start February 15, 2021 (minimum 3 months).
Shifts are Mon-Friday 9a-5p (candidate 1)
Saturday-Sunday 9a-5p (candidate 2)
Job Highlights include:
- Shift times 9:00-5:00
- Outpatient only
- Estimated 40-50 patients per provider (3 providers)
- No call
- Established team of NP and PA
- Team of 5 extenders and 7 RNS
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS and PALS
- Required procedures include suturing, splinting, burn care, I&D, foreign body removal, elbow reduction, laceration repairs.
- COVID TESTING
- X-ray, iStat, CBC, Chem 8 Labs on site, 10 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms
- EPIC EMR
NC DEA
1 year or more of recent NP Urgent Care experience.
Housing is provided and travel reimbursed.
