Overview:
Our practice in Gettysburg is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide advanced wound care assessments and individualized treatment plans. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with strong sign-on and completion bonuses.

Position Offers:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, no nights
• Competitive pay: $140,000–145,000 annually (DOE), with a $5,000 salary increase after completing training
• $5,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 bonus after 6 months

• $1,500 toward Continuing Medical Education (CME), plus 5 CME days annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced wound assessments, including etiology determination, staging, and risk stratification
• Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans, including dressing selection and pressure injury prevention
• Perform debridement procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Monitor wound healing progress and adjust care plans based on patient response
• Educate patients and families on wound care, self-management, and factors affecting healing
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation, nutrition, and case management for coordinated care
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR
• Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare, and insurance requirements, including coding and documentation

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with current NP board certification (FNP, AGNP, or related specialty)
• Active, current NP licensure in Pennsylvania, or eligibility
• Experience in wound care management; wound care certification preferred (CWOCN, CWS, WCC, or equivalent)
