Job Description

Position: Patient Services Area Manager - Michigan
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire

Job Summary:

  • Liaison between local Team, Regional Director and Site Supervisors. Key point contact person to problem solve and overall commander of the locations day to day activities, 24x7 on call
  • Review daily updates from Site Supervisors regarding populated daily scorecard status and report outs and relay to and Regional Directors.
  • Work together with the Site Supervisors to Hire and manage staff onsite while dealing with the day to day issues for their specific team site location.
  • Problem resolution with issues including but not limited to: phlebotomy and swab collecting staff, specimen tracking, specimen resolution and scheduling adjustments, IT Support, Logistics Divers, Customer Service, POC technician and Supply procurement
  • Make sure Site Supervisors are training staff appropriately in technical and customer interactions
  • Manage 25+ multi-site locations
  • Make sure all onsite leads will ensure all contractual obligations are met, while abiding by all compliance to regulatory regulations
  • Make sure onsite leads ensures a safe, secure, and legal work environment

Requirements:

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in people management
  • Experience managing multi-site locations
  • Politically savvy with strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills are essential
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Proven experience with a broad base of external customers
  • Ability to combine both scientific and commercial knowledge to meet customer needs
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate complex concepts
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diagnostics/life sciences industry experience strongly preferred
  • Prior healthcare business development/transactional experience within diagnostics/life sciences industry highly desired
