Our Health System has grown from a community hospital to a 942-bed regional health system. Our flagship hospital is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center which specializes in cardiac care, cancer treatment and surgical services as well as neuroscience, physical rehabilitation, orthopedics and more. Services for children include a pediatric emergency department, pediatric intensive care unit and a Level IV neonatal intensive care unit. A private, not-for-profit organization with more than 1 million patient visits annually, it has eight hospitals with 7,000 employees and 850 physicians.
Ideal Candidate
Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of current Leadership experience as an RN supervising Med/Surg, Surgical Services, Behavioral Health, etc. and an active NC or Multi State license.
Required Education, Licenses, and Certifications: BSN and Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
Directs, supervises, and coordinates the functions and activities of the assigned unit(s). Responsible for overall management and coordination of the service to include fiscal resource management, human resource management, capital improvements and quality of services
Demonstrated leadership characteristics. Working knowledge of budgets, staffing, Performance Improvement as well as regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal skills required. Knowledge of age-specific considerations for patients served.
