Job Description

Supervise nursing operations, maintain performance improvement activities within the department, ensure delivery of excellent patient care, and recommend strategies to improve services.

Responsible for providing leadership and direction to the nursing team to ensure established goals are met and will work closely with the nursing staff to maintain the high quality of nursing care.

The Director of Nursing will have the ability to provide department direction in regards to staffing, management, education, budget, compliance, and safety.

Must have a current Florida RN license

BSN is strongly preferred.

At least three years of experience in a hospital setting in a nurse management role, preferably 5+years.

Must have the ability to perform assessments, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation of patients and have a thorough knowledge of addiction pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment.

Proven experience leading and motivating a team.

Experience in substance abuse or behavior health industry (at least 4 years)

Experience training and developing their nursing staff

Range between $80K-$120k+ based on experience and license level (Always negotiable for right candidate)
