Job Description

Specialty: RN Manager/Supervisor - Travel

Job Details:

Make scheduled visits to designated clinics as needed.

Observe clinic staff behavior, triage staff phone etiquette, adherence to processes, clinical skills.

Lead clinical/triage staff meeting designed to identify challenge areas and possible department improvements.

Meet or report monthly with managers and clinic supervisors to review information, make departmental changes as appropriate, and evaluate progress and goals of department.

Lead recruitment and onboarding of newly hired registered nurses.

Lead annual evaluations and competencies of staff.

Lead staff management including counseling, and corrective action plans.

Work with other staff including triage staff, giving direction as needed, to ensure appropriate care is efficiently delivered

Ensure patient safety and quality of care at all times.

Safeguard sensitive and confidential company information including patient PHI.

Follow all federal, state and company regulations, policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Maintain professional competence and skills necessary to effectively perform primary job duties.

Coordinate and maintain office operations to management standards.

Establish and maintain effective work relationships within department and company.

Must be organized and have good time management skills.

Ability to adapt well to changes in workload, work locations and projects.

Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with varying degrees of supervision.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science, Associates Degree, or Diploma in Nursing required from a state accredited RN program.

Minimum two years supervisory experience.

Must have worked at least two (2) years in a nursing department and demonstrated excellent teamwork and problem solving skills and ability to identify process problems and solutions.

Active Registered Nurse license required.

Current CPR certification required.

Strong oral and written communication skills required.

Must have general proficiency in computer skills.

Must possess general nursing knowledge as well as critical thinking, judgment and assessment skills.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and follow-through discipline.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
