A full-service hospital is seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead perioperative operations and drive high-quality, patient-centered surgical care. This RN leader will oversee Surgical Services, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, fiscal responsibility, and strong collaboration across medical and nursing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic, operational, and fiscal leadership for Surgical Services

• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative patient care

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

• Manage staffing, scheduling, budgets, productivity, and capital planning

• Collaborate closely with medical staff and hospital leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing and support staff

• Participate in organizational and departmental strategic planning

• Monitor quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and performance dashboards

• Serve as a transformational leader aligned with organizational values

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (multi-state accepted)

• BSN preferred

• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS

• CNOR preferred

• Minimum 5 years of progressive perioperative nursing experience

• Minimum 3 years of nursing leadership/management experience
