NEW Permanent RN Charge Nurse – Evening Shift | Weekdays Only | Leadership Opportunity
A well-established healthcare organization in Western New York is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse to lead evening operations within a Medical/Surgical Rehab unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader looking for a consistent weekday schedule and a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Position Details:
- Role: RN Charge Nurse (Med/Surg Rehab)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00pm–11:00pm
- No weekends or holidays
- Setting: Inpatient Medical/Surgical Rehab Unit
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee evening clinical operations and ensure high-quality patient care
- Supervise and support nursing staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Coordinate patient care activities including assessments, care planning, admissions, and discharges
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with EMR standards
- Oversee medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Active New York RN license
- Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience required
- Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and communication skills
