NEW Charge Nurse – Surgery (OR) Opportunity

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule: Full-time | Days (Mon–Fri, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Compensation: $36 – $56/hr
Incentives: Relocation assistance available (eligible candidates)

Overview:
We are seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to support surgical services by coordinating daily operations, staffing, and patient care flow within the OR. This role is ideal for an experienced OR nurse with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate staff assignments and patient flow to ensure efficient OR operations
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes or emergencies
• Support and guide nursing staff to ensure adherence to policies and best practices
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
• Investigate incidents, address concerns, and support quality improvement initiatives
• Promote a collaborative, patient-focused environment

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of OR circulating experience required
• Experience with Ortho and Neuro cases required
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Education & Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active Oklahoma RN license (or compact license)
• CNOR preferred
• Epic experience a plus

Additional Details:

• Current OR volume: 12–18 cases/day (expanding to 20–30 cases/day)
• Growing surgical team with expansion from 4 to 8 ORs
