OR Nurse Manager Responsibilities
- Uphold clinical excellence and safety standards in alignment with CMS, AAAHC, Joint Commission, and OSHA regulations.
- Lead and mentor a multi-specialty team of RNs, surgical technologists, and sterile processing technicians.
- Develops, monitors, and communicates staffing schedules, and makes daily adjustments as necessary.
- Responsible for preparation and oversight of the clinical staffing operating budget.
- Provides adequate levels of staff to ensure safe and effective nursing care.
- Resolves conflicts, mediates, and ensures compliance with policies by employees and physicians
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BSN) in nursing required, MSN preferred.
- Current, active, unencumbered RN licensure n state of practice
- 3+ years of recent Operating Room experience
- 1+ years Nursing Management experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation based on experience, starting at $89,000 yearly
