Nurse Manager of Emergency Services- Aventura, FL

A healthcare organization in Aventura, Florida is looking for an experienced RN Nurse Manager of Emergency Services for a full-time evening/night shift leadership position.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, evening/night shifts with a flexible schedule

• Leadership opportunity within a 467-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center

• Oversee daily Emergency Department operations and nursing staff

• Support night shift nursing teams and work closely with the ED Director

• Ensure high-quality patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance

• Manage staffing, department productivity, and patient satisfaction

• Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve department performance

What We’re Looking For

• Active Florida RN license or eligible compact RN license

• Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital ER nursing experience required

• At least 1 year of full-time Charge Nurse, Nursing Coordinator, Nursing Supervisor, or Nursing Management experience

• Must be comfortable working evening/night shifts

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required or obtainable within 30 days of hire

• NRP and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certifications required or obtainable within 90 days of hire

• ENPC certification required or obtainable within 60 months of hire

• TNCC certification required or obtainable within 6 months of hire

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Emergency Department leadership experience

• Previous ER Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor experience

• Experience working in a trauma center or high-acuity Emergency Department
