Emergency Department Nurse Manager- Corpus Christi, TX

A healthcare organization in Corpus Christi, Texas is looking for experienced Emergency Department Nurse Managers for leadership opportunities with flexible weekday schedules.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, flexible Monday–Friday schedules

• Day shifts: Two hospital-based Emergency Departments

• Evening shift: One freestanding Emergency Department

• Oversee daily ER operations, staffing, and nursing care

• Lead, mentor, and support Emergency Department nursing staff

• Ensure high-quality patient care and safety standards

• Collaborate with hospital leadership to improve department performance

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ER leadership experience (within the past year)

• ER Charge Nurse experience will be considered

• Current BLS certification

• ACLS required within 90 days of hire

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 60 days of hire

• PALS, ENPC, and TNCC required within 6 months of hire

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Emergency Department Nurse Manager experience

• Experience supervising ER nursing staff and daily department operations

• Strong background in emergency nursing, staff development, and patient care quality
