Emergency Room Nurse Manager- Houston, TX

A healthcare organization in Houston, Texas is looking for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse Manager for a full-time day shift position with a flexible Monday–Friday schedule.

Position Highlights

• Oversee daily operations of the Emergency Department

• Lead, supervise, and support ER nursing staff

• Ensure high-quality patient care and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Active RN license required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ER leadership experience (within the past year)

• ER Charge Nurse experience will be considered

• Current BLS certification

• ACLS required within 90 days of hire

• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 60 days of hire

• PALS, ENPC, and TNCC required within 6 months of hire

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Emergency Department Nurse Manager experience

• Strong background in emergency nursing operations and staff supervision

• Experience mentoring and developing nursing teams
