Our client is looking for a Director of Quality and Risk Management provider in Columbia, MO This is a great opportunity for an experienced quality and patient safety professional who loves to teach and educate others on process improvement and facilitate high reliability.

Overview:

As a key member of the senior management team, your responsibility is to develop and implement patient safety initiatives and assure success of continuous quality enhancement initiatives by developing a proactive risk management program and oversee effective infection prevention.

Responsibilities

• Monitor And Analyze Statistical Data Using a Variety of Tools to Guide Process Improvement ( RCA, FMEA, LSS)
• Collaborate With Clinical Staff And Management For Prevention of Risks Throughout The Facility
• Serve as a Resource And Consultant For Patient Safety
• Assure Compliance With Regulatory And Accreditation Standards Are Upheld
• Develop And Lead Educational Activities to Enhance Understanding of Quality And Safety

Requirements

• RN License in State of Missouri
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 3 to 5 Years of Experience in Quality, Risk Management And /Or Infection Control/ Prevention
• Strong Clinical Background With Hospital Experience
• Strong Working Knowledge of Regulatory And Accreditation Standards
• Expert User of Microsoft Office Products And Database Management
• Certification in Infection Control or Ability to Obtain Within 2 Years
• CPHQ Preferred
