Job Summary:
The Director of Philanthropy will work to build donor and foundation support on a state-wide basis. They will manage and oversee all aspects of the Development Department and supervise development staff. The Director will work closely with the CEO, Vice President of External Affairs, and the Board to set and meet annual budgetary goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 7 years of successful professional fundraising experience
- Major gift fundraising experience required - experience in soliciting and closing major gifts of $10,000 or more
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Comfortable with public speaking, budgeting, and project management
