Job Description
Position: Patient Financial Clerk
Location: New London, NH
Duration: 13 Week Contract
Job Details: Receive, post and deposit cash receipts for all Patient Financial Service Accounts. Prepare, scan and index appropriate documents for compliance and auditing purposes. Under the general supervision of the Manager performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties and procedures facilitating the processes for claims submission, follow-up, and collection of the accounts receivable. Minimum 1-2 years Hospital Billing experience required.
Requirements:
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Accurate keyboard and data entry skills
- Mathematical and reconciliation skills
- Must be a team player
- Excellent phone and customer service skills
