Job Description

Behavioral Health RN needed in a 60+ bed hospital in NM

This is a county-owned, non-for-profit facility that is actively interviewing candidates!

They are looking to onboard a new nurse to join their team and be a leader. You will collaborate with other members of the team as well as have the ability to work independently.

The Behavioral Health Nurse is responsible and accountable to a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to the patients via therapeutic use of the nursing process, in collaboration and integration with other health care team members. You would be applying principles of growth and development over the life span. You assess and interpret patient data needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.

Requirements:

  • Current New Mexico or Multi-State Licensure
  • BLS (AHA)
  • CPI within 3 months from hire date
  • Psychiatric Nurse Certification preferred
  • Two years acute and/or psychiatric nursing experience preferred
