Shifts: 0:8:00 am - 04:30pm
Job description
Physical therapists (PTs) help people of all ages recover from injuries and illnesses and improve their movement and function. They work with patients to develop and implement treatment plans, which may include exercise, manual therapy, and education. PTs also help patients prevent further injuries and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical condition and movement dysfunction
- Develop and implement treatment plans to help patients improve their range of motion, strength, flexibility, and balance
- Provide hands-on therapy, such as massage, stretching, and joint mobilization
- Teach patients exercises and self-care techniques to help them manage their condition and prevent further injuries
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurses
