Role Summary:
NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Nursing Director of Inpatient Medicine Services for a reputable hospital in Fort Mill, SC. This leadership role oversees MedSurg, PCU, and ICU units, making it an exciting opportunity for a dynamic nursing professional who thrives in multi-unit leadership, operational excellence, and staff development.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide 24/7 leadership and oversight of MedSurg, PCU, and ICU departments.
- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing practice across multiple units.
- Oversee staffing, budgeting, and resource management to optimize patient care delivery.
- Recruit, mentor, and support professional development of nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to drive performance and improve outcomes.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and foster a culture of excellence.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
Active South Carolina RN License (or ability to obtain prior to start date) or Compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of progressive hospital management experience (manager or charge nurse level).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities
Proven hospital operations knowledge
