Facility: Adventist Health Lodi Memorial (190-Bed Acute Care Hospital & Health System)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Travel Contract (36-Hour & 48-Hour Options Available)

Estimated Compensation & Pay Structure

Option A: 36 Hours / Week (3x12s)

  • Weekly Gross Pay: $2,340.00

  • Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,008.00

  • Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend (Housing/M&IE): $1,332.00

  • Hourly Taxable Rate: $28.00 / hr

  • Hourly Blended Rate: $65.00 / hr

  • Overtime Rate: $42.00 / hr

Option B: 48 Hours / Week (4x12s)

  • Weekly Gross Pay: $3,084.00

  • Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,752.00

  • Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend (Housing/M&IE): $1,332.00

  • Hourly Taxable Rate: $36.50 / hr

  • Hourly Blended Rate: $64.25 / hr

  • Overtime Rate: $54.75 / hr

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated, compassionate nursing care utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment. Operating under established standards of care and the nursing process, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient outcomes. This role acts as a leader on the unit—supervising and directing assigned nursing staff, delegating duties appropriately, and collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a safe, healing environment.

Essential Functions & Clinical Duties

  • Assessment & Diagnosis: Systematically collects relevant clinical data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation; analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care priorities.

  • Care Planning & Implementation: Develops and implements individualized, outcome-focused plans of care using evidence-based interventions to promote health and unit safety.

  • Outcome Evaluation: Continuously evaluates patient progress toward expected outcomes and modifies interventions as needed.

  • Team Collaboration: Coordinates care with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families to foster a healing, respectful, and humane care environment.

  • Patient & Family Education: Provides vital health information, self-care education, and discharge planning to ensure seamless continuity of care.

  • Delegation & Supervision: Supervises assigned nursing and support staff, appropriately delegating duties within their scope of practice.

  • Organizational Support: Participates in quality improvement initiatives, unit safety protocols, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): Preferred

  • Acute Care Facility Experience: Preferred

Licensure & Core Certifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License: State of California (CBRN) in good standing (Required)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS): AHA, ARC, or RQI approved vendor per Adventist Health policy (Required)

Department-Specific Certifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) (Required)

  • AHA-PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) (Required)

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (Required)
