Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care | Day Shift | 36-48 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups in an acute care setting. The RN will deliver care according to established standards of nursing practice and the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and assess patient data relevant to health conditions and care needs.
  • Analyze assessment findings to identify nursing diagnoses and care priorities.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Coordinate patient care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and organizational policies.
  • Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
  • Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EPIC.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient safety standards.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and discharge planning.

Education & Experience

Required

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Previous acute care hospital experience.

Certifications Required

  • Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
