Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care | Day Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide coordinated nursing care for patients in an acute care setting. The RN will deliver care in accordance with established nursing standards and the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and collect relevant health data.
- Analyze assessment findings to identify patient care needs and nursing diagnoses.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Coordinate and communicate patient care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and effectively.
- Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing personnel.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Experience using EPIC electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting.
