Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department | Evening Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide coordinated, high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. The RN will deliver nursing care according to established standards of practice and the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This role requires critical thinking, professional judgment, and the ability to supervise and direct assigned nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule

  • Evening Shift
  • 36/48 Hours per Week

Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established nursing standards.
  • Collect and analyze patient health information to identify care needs and develop appropriate nursing diagnoses.
  • Create and implement individualized care plans to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Coordinate care delivery with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Supervise and direct assigned nursing personnel.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  • Promote patient safety, quality care, and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience

  • Acute care nursing experience preferred.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
