NEW Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Opportunity - Westchester County, New York

Schedule: Full Time
Monday–Friday, varied shifts: 7a–5p, 8a–6p, 9a–7p, 10a–8p
Includes off-hours, weekend/holiday on-call duties

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $79k – $119k

• $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

About the Role:
The Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist works under the direction of an Invasive Cardiologist and Nurse Manager to assist in diagnostic and therapeutic EP and cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include equipment setup, patient monitoring, scrub assistance, radiation safety, procedure documentation, and support in pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care. This role supports cardiac, electrophysiology, and vascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac, EP, and peripheral catheterization procedures

• Prepare patients and procedure rooms

• Set up and operate imaging and monitoring equipment

• Perform patient monitoring and documentation during procedures

• Assist with sheath removal, device implants, and intra-procedural support

• Handle instruments, inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance

• Maintain QA and equipment checks

• Assist with billing and charge audits

• Precept new hires and students

• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and radiation guidelines

• Provide coverage for all shifts as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor of Science preferred

• Completion of scrub tech training program or hospital-based program required

• One year scrub tech or cardiac tech experience preferred

• RCIS certification required within 12 months of hire

• BLS and ACLS required

• Strong ECG and hemodynamic interpretation skills required

• Ability to work in invasive cardiology and EP environments

• Must meet continuing education and professional development requirements
