The anesthesia team consists of a collaborative group of physicians and CRNAs. CRNAs in this department practice independently and are responsible for a wide range of procedures in multiple surgical specialties.

Role Overview

  • Full-time (80 hours/pp) or part-time (48 hours/pp)

  • Level III Trauma Center with high acuity

  • CRNAs practice 100% independently

  • 7 ORs, Endoscopy Suite, Cath Lab, and nearby ASC

  • Cases include general, OB, ortho, GI, urology, vascular, thoracic (no heads/hearts; healthy peds only)

  • Performs regional blocks and other anesthesia procedures

  • Paid call, shared equitably; post-call day off

  • Team-based model with collaborative providers

  • Permanent local residency required

Scope of Duties

  • Administer anesthesia independently for surgical and diagnostic procedures

  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans

  • Perform all types of nerve blocks and regional techniques

  • Monitor patients intraoperatively and postoperatively

  • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and orders

  • Participate in collaborative decision-making with surgical teams

  • Rotate weekend call responsibilities equitably among the team

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $300,000+
