Role Overview

Full-time (80 hours/pp) or part-time (48 hours/pp)

Level III Trauma Center with high acuity

CRNAs practice 100% independently

7 ORs, Endoscopy Suite, Cath Lab, and nearby ASC
-
Cases include general, OB, ortho, GI, urology, vascular, thoracic (no heads/hearts; healthy peds only)

Performs regional blocks and other anesthesia procedures

Paid call, shared equitably; post-call day off

Team-based model with collaborative providers

Permanent local residency required
Scope of Duties
-
Administer anesthesia independently for surgical and diagnostic procedures

Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans

Perform all types of nerve blocks and regional techniques

Monitor patients intraoperatively and postoperatively
-
Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and orders
-
Participate in collaborative decision-making with surgical teams
-
Rotate weekend call responsibilities equitably among the team
