CNM Locum position in Johnstown, Pennsylvania (PA)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife in Johnstown, Pennsylvania (PA) to work locum shifts. Starting in March 2026, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

Certified Nurse Midwife role:

· Schedule: (8a-8a) 24 hour in person shift.

· Call: No Call Coverage as full shift is in house

· Dates needed:

March 12, 13, 17, 22, 23

April 10, 21

May 8, 24, 26

June 5

Scope of Practice:

Assess, diagnose, monitor, promote health and protection from disease, and manage care to adolescent and adult females focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, the postpartum period, gynecological needs, and the care of the well newborn [during the first 28 days of life].

CNMs may admit patients to the hospital under consult with the MD. May provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies. Assess, stabilize, and determine disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services.

EMR: EPIC

Requirements of the Certified Nurse Midwife:

PA state license; active, unrestricted
