RN / Registered Nurse - OR (Circulator)

NEW Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (Circulator) | Direct Hire

Seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN to join a high-volume surgical services team. This role supports a wide range of surgical procedures and requires strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and the ability to function independently during call coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in accordance with nursing standards and regulations

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care

• Function as OR Circulator for a variety of surgical procedures

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, PACU, and interdisciplinary teams

• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and compliance with evidence-based practices

• Accurately document care, medications, and interventions in the EMR

• Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and quality initiatives

• Serve as lead/charge nurse during call shifts as required

Procedures & Technology:

• General, Orthopedic, Neuro, GYN, Thoracic, Endocrine, Podiatry, Endoscopy, and Cystoscopy

• Robotics experience preferred

• EMR: Meditech

• Pyxis medication system

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

• Minimum of 2 years recent OR Circulator experience (within last 6 months)

• Active RN license (state or compact)

• BLS required; ACLS required

• CNOR preferred

• Basic EKG competency required

Schedule & Call:

• 4×10-hour shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)

• Late shifts: ~2–3 per month (5:15 PM – ~7:00 PM)

• Call: ~1 weekday per week and 1 weekend shift per month

  • Call RNs act independently as lead/charge nurse and assist with PACU coverage as needed
